Description
Make sure to answer all of the following based upon your understanding of the readings. Make sure that your explanations are in your own words and that you provide examples to illustrate key points:
- What is the difference between the terms right/wrong and good/bad?
- Explain the key elements used to evaluate ethical reasoning and arguments.
- Provide and explain one reason in favor of ethical relativism and then provide and explain one argument against ethical relativism.
In addition to posting your own response, you must also read and respond in detail to the posts of AT LEAST TWO other students. I expect that your comments will be substantive – not just “you made a lot of good points” or similar statements.
Your discussion is worth 50 points and will be evaluated using the PHIL 277 Major Discussion Rubric. This rubric is available under the Grading Information tab of the Discussion area, as well as in the course Grade Center.
