1. IN your own words, explain what you think Socrates means by the claim “the life which is unexamined is not worth living”. Do you agree with him? Why or why not?
2. Imagine you are the philosopher (the prisoner who got away) in Plato’s allegory of the cave. After discovering things on the outside, would you return to the cave in order to explain things and/or help the prisoners? If so, what would you do or say to them? If not, why not?
